There is only one engine change of this train (Kerala Express) & that is only at ERS station & the engine is WAP-4. there is no engine change from Vijaywada or Nagpur or Erode. train is hauled by Royapuram (RPM)/Erode (ED) WAP 4.

This is a nice train from the Garden City during day time. The train provide Reserved Sitting Accommodation(8 Coaches) and an AC Three Tier. Usually sticks on proper timings. A loco change is done at Erode. Good Pantry.

The 12258 Yesvantpur Garib Rath is a tri Weekly train from Ananthapuri to The Garden City. Provided with 16 fully Air Conditined Three Tier Coaches at lower cost. Side Middle Bearth can cause some displeasure during travel. Time Table is made too long such that it reaches destination after 09.00. Usually seen with slight delays in Time Table. Dinner and Breakfast provided by outdoor catering service. LCD Information Display Board in eavery Coaches. Blankets available on additional payment of Rs.25 per head.
