If the Railways were not able to manage this, it should consider privatisation, the court said.

The western railway has roped in the army to remove stranded passengers from Naasopara railway station to Vasai Road railway station on the Western line. The 400 passengers evacuated by NDRF are currently at Nalasopara station.
