Due to track maintenance in Alappuzha – Ernakulam section in Thiruvananthapuram Division, trains will be diverted to run via Kottayam.
Train No 16603 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express leaving Mangaluru Central on January 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 31, February 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 will be diverted, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Junction, Thuravur, Cherthala, Mararikulam, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam and Chengannur in the diverted route.

TRACK SUSPENDED IN PALGHAT DIVISION OF SOUTHERN RAILWAY
Due to Flooding reported between Palakkad - Ottappalam, Shoranur - Kuttipuram and Ferok – Kallayi sections of Palghat Division, Track suspended on these sections from 12.45 hrs on 9th August 2019. Landslip has also been reported at Karakkad, near Shoranur
In view of this, Train traffic affected in Palakkad - Ernakulam, Palakkad - Shoranur and Shoranur - Kozhikode sections.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION
Train No.12602 Mangalore – MGR Chennai Central Mail which left Mangalore on 8th August 2019 is partially cancelled between Shoranur and Chennai.
To facilitate engineering works for the commissioning of the Arakkonam-Takkolam detour line in the Chennai Railway Division, Railways will cancel, short-terminate, partially cancel, regulate or divert several trains from the State from April 5.
Train 22207 Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central AC Express of April 5 and 9 and 22208 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Chennai Central AC Express of March 7 and 10 have been cancelled. Train 12698 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Chennai Central Express of April 6 and 13 will be short terminated at Jolarpettai, according to Railways.

Train 22877 Howrah-Ernakulam Antyodaya Express, scheduled to leave Howrah on April 13, will be regulated at a convenient location for 30 minutes. Train 12695 Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express of April 14 will leave Chennai Central at 7.25 p.m., late by four hours, according to Railways.
Train 18568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam weekly express of April 5 will run via Katpadi, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore and Gudur. Due to this diversion, the train will skip the stoppage at Gudur. Train 12690 Nagercoil-Chennai Central weekly express of April 7 will be diverted via Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore and Chennai Beach.
Train 22815 Bilaspur-Ernakulam weekly express of April 8 will be diverted via Gudur, Chennai Beach, Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam and Salem. Train 22878 Ernakulam-Howrah Antyodaya express of April 9 will run via Katpadi, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore and Gudur. Train 22619 Bilaspur-Tirunelveli weekly express of April 9 will also run via Gudur, Chennai Beach, Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam and Salem.
On April 13, 16351 CSMT Mumbai-Nagercoil express will run via Gooty, Dharmavaram, Yelahanka, Salem, Karur, Dindigul and Madurai while 16352 Nagercoil-CSMT Mumbai Express will run via Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Takkolam, Melpakkam and Renigunta.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In view of the Mandala-Makaravilakku festival, Railways has allowed temporary stoppages for four trains at Chengannur station. (Train No 12698) Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Weekly Superfast Express (which arrives at 10.23 pm) and (Train No 22653) Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast Express (which arrives at 02.28 am) will stop at Chengannur for two minutes from Saturday to January 19.
(Train No 12697) Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express, which arrives at Chengannur at 3.48 am, will stop for two minutes from Sunday to January 20. (Train No 22654) Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express will stop at Chengannur for two minutes from November 26 to January 21 (Chengannur arrival 11.18 am).

Partial cancellationIn connection with construction works at Thiruvarur Junction (Tiruchirappalli division) on November 28, the Railways has effected changed in service pattern. (Train No 16188) Ernakulam-Karaikal Express leaving Ernakulam Junction at 9.45 pm on November 27, will be partially cancelled between Tiruchirappalli Junction and Karaikal and will be terminated at Tiruchirappalli Junction. (November 28).(Train No 16187) Karaikal-Ernakulam Express scheduled to leave Karaikal at 4.15 pm on November 28, will be partially cancelled between Karaikal-Tiruchirappalli Jn. 
Change in coach composition The coach composition of (22633/22634) Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin- Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express trains will be permanently revised as:AC 2-tier – 3, AC 3-tier – 4, Second Class Sleeper– 7, Second Class General  – 4 and Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches. (Train No 22633) Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast Express train will run with the revised composition from Wednesday.
