माननीय वस्त्र राज्य मंत्री, भारत सरकार श्री अजय टम्टा ने 21 फरवरी,2018 को पूर्वोत्तर रेलवे के इज्जतनगर मण्डल अन्तर्गत टनकपुर रेलवे स्टेशन पर आयोजित एक भव्य समारोह में मझोला पकड़िया-टनकपुर आमान परिवर्तित रेल खण्ड तथा इस खण्ड पर बड़ी लाइन के गाड़ियों का शुभारम्भ किया गया |माननीय वस्त्र राज्य मंत्री इस खण्ड पर 55380 टनकपुर-मझोला पकड़िया पहली विशेष गाड़ी को हरी झण्डी दिखाकर रवाना किये ।

I hav travelled a couple of times and my each experience regarding jerks:-
1. Adi - Ndls - Rajdhani -1ac - almost no jerks
2. Ju- jp - 18244 BGKT - BSP exp - sl- too many jerks
3. Hte - Pune - 22845 sf -3ac- too many jerks
4. Cst- Rou - 12869 sf- Sl - felt jerks only while departing
5. Rou - hte - 22845 sf - Sl - too many jerks.
Now after travelling in LHB, I feel ICF more comfortable but I think safety is more important than Comfort of short period.
no buffers are there on trains with CBC coupler.
and the coupler itself doesn't do a great job of absorbing shocks while accelerating/decelerating
hence you have to dissipate the surplus energy yourself ;)
Chalo koi baat nahi, safety chahiye to jhatke saho. Khair small time comfort se jyada jaruri hai safety.
4 baar LHB me travel Kiya hai sirf ek baar jerk laga tha wo bhi departure k waqt
5th LHB journey hai 22893 me April me Dekhte hai kya hota hai
there are modified designs of coupler that do a far better job of absorbing the energy
it is there, I believe on SC duronto because i didn't feel any jerks when i traveled on board
there was a document i read, written by RCF which stated that the original modified coupler were installed on SC rajdhani rake, unfortunately so few people take it that user opinion is very difficult to know.
